What is telepathy and how does it work?

Mental telepathy involves the transfer of thought by mind. Whether we are aware of it or not, we are constantly sending and receiving information psychically.  Whenever we have a thought, our brain is stimulated to produce a small amount of energy. When that thought relates to something or someone outside of ourselves, the energy automatically travels towards that object or person, and a psychic link is formed. This link is like a wire over which information flows from one person to the other.

Here is an example of mental telepathy that many people have experienced. You are thinking about a friend whom you haven't seen for a long time. The telephone rings. Your friend is on the line, asking how you are. You reply: "What a coincidence, I was just thinking about you!" In fact, this might not have been a coincidence at all; it is quite possible that through mental telepathy, you thought of your friend before the call. A little bit of inquiry may determine who started thinking about whom first. You may have thought about your friend first, prompting him to make the phone call. Alternatively, your friend may have been thinking about you while deciding to make a phone call and his thought travelled to you even before he began dialling. When the phone rang, you were already thinking about him.

Whenever we reach out to someone with our minds, we are creating a psychic link. Whether or not the other person is receptive will depend upon his state of mind at the time.  A person is more likely to be in a receptive state of mind while attending to a routine task than while reading or trying to solve a problem.
