What is child possession and why does it happen?

Child possession happens when a mindset spirit takes control of a child and uses the child for its own purposes. Mindset spirits are those who, for one reason or another, have remained in the physical world, and are unable or unwilling to move on to the spiritual dimension. Although child possession does occur, it is more common for a child to be accompanied or adopted, rather than possessed.

Parents are sometimes amused when their child asks that a place be set at the table for an "imaginary" friend while in the child's eyes, the "friend" takes up space. Although this doesn't necessarily mean that the child has spirit company, it should be monitored closely and never ridiculed. If  the child's requests become more insistent, it may be cause for concern. Whether or not there is spirit presence, there may be a psychological problem that needs to be addressed.
Children who have been abandoned or neglected by their parents are more likely to attract an older mindset spirit than those who are well cared for. For example, a spirit who in physical life had always wanted but was never able to have her own child, might attach herself to a child who is being neglected and provide the child with a positive, nurturing experience. In the long run, however, this type of spirit adoption might prove harmful to the child by fostering an unhealthy dependence from which the child, when grown, is unable to break free. In some cases, the accompanying spirit, resenting the relationships the child has with others, will cause the child to behave badly in order to damage those relationships.

Being in a state of acceptance means seeing ourself as an integral part of nature rather than separate from it.
