How does our psyche affect our health and our ability to heal?

Many of us are working hard to maintain or restore our health, prevent illness, and improve our quality of life. We use diet, exercise, recreational activities, meditation and other means in an attempt to reduce stress and provide our body with the ingredients it needs to perform optimally. All these methods enhance the production of energy within our body which in turn helps the body to repair itself.

A FOCUSED MIND AND ENERGY FLOW

What we might not realize is that any activity that leads to a focused mind will automatically increase the speed of the energy flow through our body which in turn will vitalize the energy envelopes surrounding each and every organ. The result? A better functioning body that is resistant to illness and better able to heal. However, while all mental activity creates energy, some forms of thought can create the conditions for ill health.

MIND ENERGY AND INTERNALIZATION

Thought, or in other words, "mind energy," has to go somewhere. When we are focused on an activity, solving a problem, or expressing an opinion or a feeling, the energy is projected. When, on the other hand, we worry or feel guilty, replay disturbing scenarios, or become preoccupied with ourself in other ways, the mind energy we produce is internalized. Internalized mind accumulates inside our body to form pockets of energy which over time can become dense and begin to obstruct our energy flow. These ENERGY BLOCKS can prevent our body from healing.
